Betfair Exchange is the best exchange for market determined rates with ample liquidity for most of the sports across the world. The ability to place a bet at a particular price point or starting price is a great feature. The commissions are very reasonable. It is very easy to navigate and place the bets. The various payment systems allows easy transfer of money between Betfair and the banks. The discounts on the commission rate depending on the volume bets placed is a great feature.

Overall betfair is a very good bookmaker, good easy to use website with a large variety of sportsbook betting. However someone else logged into my account somehow and bet all my betting balance on a completely random womens tennis match for some woman to win the set at ridiculous odds on the exchange. I believe they done this so they could take the lay bet on their side so they could acquire my balance, as the bet was so obscure there must have been very few people if any betting on that event. Once i realised i phoned betfair who were quick to help close the account down and investigate the situation. They were able to see the bet did not match my betting pattern of £10-£20 bets and the ip address that was used to log in was completely new to anything previously used. They did state they were not liable for third party acts on my account but as a sign of goodwill they gave me my balance back. So all good however in the month after I trebled my account balance and then recieved an email from Betfair stating I was not allowed best odds guaranteed on the horses or any other Betfair promotions. I also noticed my bets were getting limited as well from then on. So have since withdrawn my funds.

Betfair founders Black and Wray received the Ernst and Young Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year award. In 2003, the company was one of about 50 recipients of the Queen's Awards for Enterprise in the Innovation category. Betfair won its second Queen's Award for Enterprise, this time for International Trade, in April 2008. It joined an elite group of multiple Queen's Award winners and was recognition of the fact that over half of all new customers now come from outside the UK and they account for 44% of all revenue

Betfair is really two separate entities, Sportsbook and Exchange. Betfair Sportsbook is a decent alternative to the long established Bookmakers. Mostly decent prices, easy to use and a ton of markets to choose from. I still haven't been completely limited on there as I have on several others, but I am partially limited and banned from offers on there. So, it's probably only a matter of time. Good site though. Betfair Exchange is the Holy Grail for punters like me. Very often, you can find odds above what the bookies are giving and there is no chance of getting limited, as other punters are taking your bets. There is mostly enough liquidity in their markets for serious bets too. Changed the way I make money online completely. Long may it continue.

This is another of my bookie accounts that I really like, nice and easy to navigate site and they have lots of decent offers, especially the 3/1+ offer on the big meetings, theynalso have best odds guaranteed which is a must in my book, also ok,e the two site format offering you the exchange betting, but you can also place multiple bets on that site using stakes as small as 1p, another thing I li,e about betfair as you can put big priced horses etc for very small outlay that can payout big if they all win.

Betfair sportsbook is getting better in my opinion. The odds are not quite as good as Bet365 or William Hill most of the times and they rarely have the best odds on events but it is clear they are improving. The site is easy to use and customer service has always been very helpful. In my experience they are one of the more friendly bookmakers towards winning customers, as so far I have not been limited. But I should recommend the exchange for a longer term view, in my opinion that is the best one to get familiar with.

The king of the exchanges, but the sportsbook has gubbed me. Loads of markets, although still not always the same as some other bookies, but plenty to choose from nonetheless. Commission on the exchange is perhaps a little high at 5%, but plenty of liquidity. Decent customer service, and often helpful with the exchange games when there are problems. They used to give me bonuses on both sportsbook and exchange sites, but not since I was gubbed from the sportsbook side.

Betfair is easy to use across all platforms used by me i.e. website on mobile phone and on the PC. It is easy to understand, although there are fewer features on the mobile. Customer support is patchy with first-line support quite clueless - usually anything I need to know has to go to second line support. Odds on Sportsbook are ok - good but not great. The BOG feature is good.

Sadly, after using them for a couple of years and making a good profit I have now been restricted. Disappointing. But still, you need to have an account with them and make hay while the sun shines.

Still the best Exchange bookie. Plenty of liquidity even on off beat markets theres usually something. I personally think it needs a fresh uplift design wise. I think it should be easier to move from e.g. one horse meeting at a certain time to another, in one click. So a bit tried IMO. Got limited on the sportsbook which was annoying because I had not hammered their offers. Chat help is good and friendly and generally fairly quick.

This is how all sites should be. Easy to use layout and an exchange to boot. Sign up was easy, good market coverage and decent odds too. They run regular promos if you want that sort of thing and also have Casino/ Arcade sections. I do use an authentication log on system with these as I have heard of accounts being hacked but personally I have never had a problem and suspect some punters don't use decent anti virus which is why some have had an issue. On the exchange side, when I have traded, it had crashed twice in the last 12 months mid trade for me, customer services are some of the best I have come across.

I like betfair exchange because you can't get excluded. Very good odds but if betting on the horses there is no best odds guarantee. Which means I generally stick to football cricket rugby. Lots of markets to bet on and once you are used to an exchange you can also lay odds as well. Also has a nice profit and loss area so you can see exactly how well or bad you are at betting. Sportsbook is just there so that they've hooked you into the exchange. It's worth going down that route to get the account opening offer, but they'll restrict you quicker than almost anyone. That said, it's by far the most liquid of the exchanges which generally means it can offer the best prices. Betfair starting price is frequently significantly higher than the industry starting price, and if you fancy an outsider to win it's usually a no-brainer. I'm gonna rate it on the exchange as that's what Betfair essentially is.

Having been limited or banned by all the major bookies - including Betfair Sportsbook - I now place my horse racing bets exclusively on Betfair's exchange. The site is easy to use, very slick and very quick. As BF's SP tends to beat industry SP I place all my bets at BF's SP. This saves me time as I'm not forever dashing around trying to get the best early odds and can place them all just before racing starts. There are occasional Cash Race and cashback promotions, too. Hobson's choice for me but I'd still recommend them.

Exchange is fine, although the much vaunted odds are often bettered by the BOG bookies. The odds site is another matter now its linked to Paddy Power limiting me to derisory amounts ( 20p ew for example!)and all because I once won £400 or so with PP. Pathetic. The best thing is you can always get a bet on the horse racing. It'd be great if they would introduce Betfair SP for sports too, as some markets are illiquid early on. Some of the better odds, particularly bigger events and close to the off in horse racing. The exchange is still the go-to despite of the heftier commission just because of the range and liquidity. Used it for a long time but very rarely now as the commission is a pain for the small punter. Losing points gained for lack of use each week is disheartening. Free offers never seem to exceed €5 which is derisory. Comes across as a market place for bookies and big bettors rather than small punter. Hard to get decent prices on the top three in the market in horse racing. Outsiders often better value in big races but generally only for small amounts. Needs a rethink on marketing; emails from Betfair are monotonous and poorly presented.
